Hon. Philip Okey Igwe at Uzuakoli deadly Erosion site.

The Deputy governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Abia state, Hon. Okey Philip Igwe, yesterday visited the gully erosion site at Oba Amaewu, Amamba Uzuakoli. The visit which is sequel to the inspection of the site by the House of assembly member, Hon. Emmanuel Chinedum Ndubuisi and a delegation from Nigeria erosion and watershed management project, was in a bid to assess the level of damage done by the gully.
The Deputy governor hopeful expressed deep shock and described the erosion as terrible, devastating and too horrific. He promised to ensure that quick remedial works are started at the erosion site to forestall further damages
