Nigerians make a bold statement as millions March for Peter Obi on Independence Day.

Nigerians, Old, young, rich and poor from the busy streets of Festac, Lagos in Southwest to the commercial city of Aba in southeast and the buzzing cities of Bauchi and Kaduna in the North trooped out in millions to walk in solidarity to a new Nigeria.

The Walk which is termed “A million walk for Peter Obi” saw people converging at the historic Lekki tollgate and across the states to chant the Nigerian national anthem and pray for a new and better Nigeria led by Mr. Peter Obi.

Mr. Peter Obi who is the standard bearer of the Labour Party for the Presidential election has enjoyed overwhelming support from majority of Nigerians as he represents the hope and face for a new Nigeria.


The walk which was peacefully observed across the nation heralds the beginning of a productive and prosperous Nigeria
