The Bende Labour Party, led by Chief Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, Agu Bende, vehemently denies the recent claims made by ABNTV that the Labour Party (LP) in Bende, along with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Young Progressives Party (YPP), has merged into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
According to a statement signed by Ebenezer Kanu for the AguBende Media Team, the party categorically refutes these claims as baseless, false, and purely imaginative. The Bende Labour Party asserts that it remains a strong and unified entity, and strongly denies any suggestions that it has disintegrated or merged with another political entity.
The party leader affirmed that the Bende Labour Party maintains its distinct identity and operational independence. It is committed to realizing the New Abia vision championed by Governor Alex Otti and remains independent from any other political party.
Furthermore, the party has called on the author of the false publication to retract the misinformation immediately. The Bende Labour Party warns that failure to do so may compel the party to seek other means of redress to protect its integrity and prevent the spread of misinformation.
